Kaishan KT15C is a large‑scale integrated high‑pressure DTH drill rig. It integrates the drilling rig and screw air compressor as one unit with no external air compressor required, and is purpose‑built for efficient rock‑drilling operations in large‑and‑medium‑sized open‑pit mines and large‑scale rock‑works projects.
The whole machine is equipped with a Cummins National‑III diesel engine adopting single‑power dual‑end output. One power source drives both the screw compression system and the hydraulic system simultaneously, delivering ample and stable power. It features a drilling diameter range of 140‑190 mm and an economical drilling depth of up to 36 meters. It can drill various blast holes including vertical, inclined and horizontal ones, and adapts to rock hardness of f6‑20, enabling efficient drilling in both soft and hard rock formations.
The equipment is fitted with a disc‑type automatic drill rod connecting‑disconnecting system, together with automatic oil‑injection lubrication, floating joint protection and electro‑hydraulic anti‑jamming drilling system, which greatly reduces manual labor intensity and minimizes drill rod damage and drilling jamming failures. It is equipped with a hydraulic dry‑type dust‑collecting device that effectively suppresses construction dust and meets environmental‑protection construction standards. The sealed cab with heating and cooling air‑conditioning offers broad vision, real‑time display of drilling depth and angle, and allows single‑person full‑machine operation for comfortable and convenient work.
Built on a heavy‑duty crawler travelling chassis with a maximum climbing capacity of 25° and large ground clearance, it achieves flexible relocation on mountainous terrain, steep slopes and uneven mine‑site ground. Featuring high‑level automation, the unit supports long‑duration continuous heavy‑duty operations. Its feed beam is made of high‑strength aluminum alloy; the hydraulic system responds nimbly for fast rock‑drilling speed, low overall failure rate and convenient maintenance.
Widely used in open‑pit mining, bench blasting in quarries, rock excavation for highway and railway subgrades, hydropower‑station rock‑works and pre‑split hole construction on mine slopes for drilling blast holes and pre‑split holes, it serves as the primary rock‑drilling equipment for large‑scale open‑pit rock‑works projects.
